Context of unprecedented increase in The administrative  employment, a divergence of sources on employment after the health crisis
After the health crisis, employment increased very sharply in France.

Estimates and the results of the  The administrative  Employment Survey (EEC) agree on this diagnosis: thus, between 2019 and 2023, on an annual average, employment increased by 1.73 million according to the Employment Estimates and by 1.27 million according to the EEC. They nevertheless present a gap in dynamism of 455,000 jobs over the period (Figure 1) .

Apprentices, micro-entrepreneurs, seniors: very strong dynamism of categories structurally less well declared in the EEC
Between 2019 and 2023, the strong employment dynamic is based in particular on three populations or forms of employment that have grown significantly: apprentices, micro-entrepreneurs (when it is their main activity) and employees aged 60 or over.
