Things have been a little slow around la casa de Fawn in the recent weeks. The big news is that our new album, “The Maginot Line” is absolutely, 100% finished and will be released in Canada and the U.S. in early March. In the meantime, you can visit with John around the world as he tours with our good friends in the Broken Social Scene. Scott was also scooped up by another great band, The Violet Archers, fronted by Rheostatics bassman Tim Vesely. If you missed them on tour in October, you’ll get a chance to see them here in Toronto in January. When we all reconvene in the new year, you can bet we’ll hit the road hard. We’ll be playing in Hamilton this friday, September 30 at the Underground with Ted Leo, North of America and Inflation Kills. It should be pretty phone number list awesome. I haven’t seen North of America play in a long time. The new record album, “The Maginot Line” will be mixed this week!!

This past show at the Knitting Factory was easily the best time we’ve had in New York. Thanks for being a part of it.
