 C1 Powertap Power Meter Review

 

I recently got to test the new C1 chainrings from
Powertap. I received the 52/36 version with a 110mm axle C1 Powertap  and 5 spokes (
the 4 spoke version was available mid-2016).

The FSA chainring + sensor set phone number library weighs 308g! which is 150g
This gives C1 Powertap  us a Power sensor for 150g located in the center of the crankset! Installation is super simple. After checking that. Your crankset is compatible ! simply remove the chainrings and install.

The C1 assembly with the specific screws! Tightening to around 10 Nm. This took me 4 minutes
flat with a Shimano 105 crankset. There’s nothing else to do and the assembly is ready to be put back in the bottom bracket.

It only takes a few turns of the crank to get. The sensor up and running! and detection is immediate!
